World leaders have congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu following his election victory, and pledged their support for his administration.
The Likud leader started to receive congratulatory messages from Israel's foreign allies via phone calls and tweets on Thursday after the final elections results were released which indicated that he would probably be able to form a coalition and retake the position of prime minister.
Ukraine President, Volodymyr Zelensky
According to the Jerusalem Post, the president of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu on his electoral victory on social media.
"Congratulations to Netanyahu on winning the elections. "It’s always important to see real democracy in action. Ukraine and Israel share common values and challenges that now require effective cooperation, "Zelensky tweeted.

Zelensky added that he hopes to open "a new page in cooperation" with Israel's new government.
US Ambassador, Tom Nides.
US Ambassador to Israel, Tom Nides called Netanyahu and tweeted soon after saying that he looked forward to working with him: "I congratulated him on his victory and told him I look forward to working together to maintain the unbreakable bond" between Israel and the US.
India Prime Minister.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted "Mazel Tov my friend Netanyahu for your electoral success. I look forward to continuing our joint efforts to deepen the India-Israel strategic partnership."
Netanyahu and Modi visited each other's capitals, and during Netanyahu's previous term as prime minister, relations between Delhi and Jerusalem improved.
Modi also thanked the outgoing Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid for his efforts to improve ties between India and Israel.
Netanyahu also held conversations with Austria's Chancellor Karl Nehammer and Romania's Prime Minister Nicolae Ciuca.
Hungarian Prime Minister
Netanyahu's autobiography was recently published, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban posed for a picture with it. He then tweeted the image with the slogan "Mazel Tov!"
"What a great victory for Benjamin Netanyahu in Israel! Hard times require strong leaders. Welcome back!" Orban wrote.
Netanyahu and Orban had a close relationship as leaders. Hungary frequently vetoed EU foreign policy proposals that required unanimous agreement that was" seen as problematic in Jerusalem. Netanyahu received criticism for his relations with Orban amid allegations of certain policies implemented by Budapest which were viewed as undemocratic.
US Senator Ted Cruz
On Wednesday, when the results appeared certain but were not yet official, US Senator Ted Cruz (R-TX) congratulated Netanyahu. At the time, officials of the Biden administration had stated that although they were waiting to see what sort of government would be established, US-Israeli relations would remain solid.
"Congratulations to the people of Israel on a robust high turnout election and clear choice of Netanyahu to form a government," Cruz tweeted.
He added in Hebrew: "Good luck, friend."

Italian Prime Minister
Giorgia Meloni, the recently elected prime minister of Italy also congratulated Benjamin Netanyahu on his election victory. In a message she posted on Twitter, Meloni expressed her readiness to "strengthen our friendship and our bilateral relations, to better face our common challenges."
The European Parliament.
Netanyahu has received congratulations from Roberta Metsola, the President of the European Parliament and a Maltese member of the European Parliament, who noted that "the relationship between the EU and Israel is one built in shared history and founded on common principles of democracy, liberty, and rule of law."
Prime Minister Lapid Congratulates Netanyahu On His Election Win.
Prime Minister Yair Lapid also congratulated the opposition leader Benjamin Netanyahu on winning the elections on Thursday during their conversation.

Lapid, the Jerusalem Post reports, directed all departments of the Prime Minister's Office to organize an orderly handover of power. "The State of Israel is above all political considerations. I wish Netanyahu success for the sake of the people of Israel and the State of Israel," Lapid said.
Netanyahu, 73 is one of Israel's most controversial politicians. He is adored by Likud's grassroots supporters despite being despised by those on the center and left.
Netanyahu is presently facing charges of alleged bribery, fraud, and breach of trust. He vehemently denies any wrongdoing. His potential coalition partners in a Likud-led government have said they would change the law, which would put an end to his trial.
Benjamin Netanyahu is the longest-serving Israeli prime minister and has been out of power for less than 18 months.
