Church of England School Fires Teacher For Supporting Bible Beliefs.

A longtime Christian teacher in England has been sacked for refusing to promote extreme LGBT lifestyle and ideology at a Church of England school, The Gateway Pundit reported.

Glawdys Leger, 43, is also being accused of expressing her Christian beliefs on human sexuality when she responded to students' questions.

Citing a report from Christian Concern, The Gateway Pundit explained that Glawdys was a specialist Modern Foreign Languages teacher for 12 years before being fired by the Bishop Justus School in Bromley, Kent, last year.

Glawdys said that the school officials treated her like a dangerous criminal” for holding biblical beliefs.

According to the report, Glawdys had expressed her belief that “God believes humans are born male and female and that LGBTQI practice is sinful.”

The problem started when the school decided to install “extreme and politically partisan LGBT” lessons as part of the school’s “Religious Education.”

In a report made to the Teaching Regulation Agency, TRA, the Aquinas Church of England Education Trust claimed, that she had “upset one pupil” with her beliefs and

“Based on upset, not harm, to one child,” a case was launched against her,

that could result in a decision to bar her from teaching, Christian Concern said.,

Glawdys said she witnessed more and more promotion of LGBT ideologies, “and other contentious ethical and political issues” in the school, which claims to be Christian.

For instance, teaching materials that suggested to children that they can be “born in the wrong body,” as well as gender ideologies promoting the concept of “pansexual, asexual, intersex, and transgender” beliefs were introduced.

Demands were also made that those who are “non-queer” must “support” those beliefs.

However, such lessons are “misleading and partisan,” as “gender identity” is not a protected characteristic under the Equality Act 2010, the report by Christian Concern

said.

The Bishop Justus School in Bromley, Kent, also reportedly carried out various promotions on abortion and Critical Race Theory, which claim that society is racist and the solution is more racism.

Glawdys was concerned that parents who sent their children to the “Christian” school were being deceived, and decided to teach the biblical perspective on those social issues.

The school launched an investigation and dismissed her. A pending hearing before the TRA is accusing her of “unacceptable professional conduct.”

Glawdys said, “The thought of me losing my career for expressing my Christian beliefs in response to questions from students is heart-breaking. I was treated like a criminal and as though I was a danger for expressing my Christian beliefs.”

She is now being represented by the Christian Legal Center in her legal fight with the school.

Andrea Williams, chief executive of the Christian Legal Centre, said: “Glawdys’ case is part of a growing trend of the TRA targeting Christian teachers for expressing their faith in schools. Gladys was hounded out of the job she loved because she wanted children to understand in an RE lesson in a Christian school that Christian teaching does not align with LGBTQI ideology.”

Religion. Education. Lifestyle.
