A small town in Britain is demanding a government probe into why it has become Britain’s UFO hotspot after about 6,000 people claimed to have had close encounters with the unidentified flying objects, UFOs.
Residents of Bonnybridge, near Stirling in Scotland, have reported over 300 sightings of mystery craft in the skies above the town every year.
For the past 20 years, reports of crop circles, strange objects in the sky, and even alien abductions have plagued the picturesque Scottish village, that lies about halfway between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
Now local councilor Billy Buchanan wants a government investigation, saying: “I still don’t know what it could be.
Is it military? We don’t know. But we demand to know.’’
Cllr Buchanan told YouTube documentary makers that some UFO experts from around the world had visited Bonnybridge town to investigate the strange occurrences.
For now, no one can explain the increased number of sightings, which began in 1992 when a motorist reported a craft floating over the road.
According to a report by the Daily Star, UK, some people believe that the sightings were being used as an excuse by some workers, and residents in the area to stay away from work as more workers claim they were visited by the aliens.
Employers predict a big spike in the number of people claiming they needed to take time off because they were abducted by aliens over the last year.
They said some staff have even claimed they had been experimented on. Others said they had been taken to another planet, while the more brazen ones told their bosses they wouldn’t be coming to work because they wanted to go and hunt for the "little green men."
“Surely the bosses whose employees called in sick due to having “been abducted by aliens” or “seen a ghost” saw green. It may not have been just saucers that went flying in that workplace”.Alan Price, CEO of Experts Bright HR, a
HR software company told the Daily Star:
