Reports Of UFO Sighting In Scotland Increased In 2022.


A new report by UFO Identified,

an organization investigating the phenomena of unidentified flying objects claim that 52 Unidentified flying objects (UFO) were spotted in Scotland in the past year.


The figure includes strange white orbs hovering in the sky above Edinburgh Castle, as well as flying disc-shaped objects "like a plane with no wings" flying high up.


According to the organization, founded by ufologist Ash Ellis, UFO sighting reports in Scotland rose from 43 to 52 in 2022 compared to the previous year.


The report further reveals that the sightings were recorded across Scotland, major cities such as Edinburgh, Glasgow and Aberdeen, Fife, Stirling and the Scottish Borders.


Daily Record, UK, citing the UFO Identified,

presented a list of all of the UFO sightings reported in Scotland last year.


January 8, 5.27 pm — Borders: 


Caller keeps seeing red lights in the sky flying together, can't hear anything, can just see the lights.

This is said to be the most notable UFO sighting in Scotland in 2022


January 22, 6.52 pm — Peterhead: 


Three lights giving the shape of a triangle moving slowly went behind a cloud and never reappeared.

January 29, 9.04 am — Fife: 


A white ball-shaped object moving southeast against a 70mph wind, no wings or engines can be seen.


February 10, 2.41 pm — Glasgow: 


A missile-shaped object moving at great speed. No wings, no noise, and changed direction.


February 11, 6.15 am — East Kilbride: 


Three stars in a straight line formation, moving very fast from West to East before fading from view.


February 11 — Pentlands: 


Two glowing figures flickering against the sky, orange lights becoming parallel and hanging in the air.


February 17, 8 am — Glasgow: 


The dark, large oblong-shaped object was seen from a plane flying above Glasgow.


February 27, 3.02 pm — Edinburgh: 


A bright white orb is spotted in the photograph hovering above Edinburgh Castle.


March 1, 12 pm — Greenock: 


A large black sphere travels perfectly straight toward the witness, followed by a second identical object.


March 3, 7.25 pm — Renfrew: 


Small yellow light changes form at remarkable speed before disappearing into a haze.


March 16, 6.14 pm — Glasgow: 


A large flat object hovering in the sky made two complete flips before moving off at speed to the East.


March 25, 7 pm — Aberdeen: 


A bright ball of light stationary before starting to 'dance' and then moving West to East dimming as it traveled.


March 27, 11.40 am — Glasgow: 


Three objects floating above each other, flashing bright white intermittently moving higher through clouds.


April 20, 10 pm — Glasgow: 


Three orbs moving in different directions from each other circling the sky, at a very fast speed.


April 22, 11.50 pm — Livingston: 


Moving bright objects, hovering in place flashing red and green before flying off fast.


May 7, 10.50 pm — Edinburgh: 


The caller heard an explosion before seeing a large blue flash that traveled across the sky.


May 18, 3.30 am — Greenock: 


Intense flash in the sky, followed by two more flashes in separate areas of the sky.


May 24, 2.20 pm — Duns: 


Two green/yellow balls of light that look like a planet, visible after taking a photograph.


June 1, 7.36 am — Lerwick: 


Blue orb captured on photographs of the sea just outside of the Shetland Islands, not seen with the naked eye.


June 8, 4.29 am — Borders: 


The caller believed that they were seeing a UFO.


June 9, 8.26 am — Glasgow: 


Black disc-shaped object with what looked like Christmas tree lights on the front of it.

June 21, 1 am — Musselburgh: 


Two satellites followed by a triangle that looked like a shadow moved quickly across the sky.


June 21, 11.55 pm — Bo'ness: 


Translucent craft with lights at the front and back, flying very low and moving in a looping pattern.


June 27, 7.40 pm — Airdrie: 


Object "like a plane with no wings" flying high up with no vapor trail.


June 29, 10.03 pm — Edinburgh: 


Black disc flying towards the North/North West over the Firth of Forth, and possibly the Rosyth sub base.


July 6, 3.50 pm — Glasgow: 


Small objects very high and fast, with no visible wings or fuselage. Moved across the sky in 30 seconds.


July 7, 2.15 am — Stirling:


Small bright dots hovering unusually with a green aura being emitted and changing in size.


July 10, 2.56 pm — Peterhead: 


The glowing white object in the clear daylight sky, appearing to be motionless then speeding up to out of view


July 13, 11.04 pm — Stirling: 


Two yellow lights hovering above the high ground. One lowered then reappeared before the second started flashing.



July 16, 12 pm — Fife: 


My son and I spotted a 'tic-tac' darting about all over the sky, never seen anything like this before, it was amazing.


July 26, 1.45 am — Edinburgh: 


A ball of light static above the trees started flashing and zipped across the sky numerous times at high speed.

July 30, 9.20 pm — Fife: 


Two white disc-shaped objects stationary in the clouds, initially thought it was aircraft.


August 5, 10.30 am — Inverkeithing: 


Dark colored sphere witnessed in a photograph hovering in the air at a beach.


August 9, 7.35 am — Edinburgh: 


Stationary 'mass' above the forest area of Forth. Began to move slowly and then descended into the trees.


August 12, 1.20 pm — Falkirk: 


Medium grey cigar-shaped object stationary but moving on the spot rotating anti-clockwise at an angle.


August 14, 6.38 am — Glasgow: 


Caller reporting seeing something flying over their building. It was not a plane or a meteor, believe it was a UFO.


August 14, 10.20 pm — Dundee:


A stationary and very bright light-emitting object that altered its shape, seen in numerous photos.


August 14, 11.01 pm — Linlithgow: 


Various strange objects morph together and then come together and shrink down to one point.


August 18, 7.23 am — Aberdeen: 


A green object was seen for a couple of seconds, with an aura or haze around it, then it disappeared.


September 4, 4.30 pm — Kintyre: 


Dome shaped object with angular sides was caught on camera, the sun reflected off it and appeared to be metallic.


September 12, 3.30 pm — Isle of Mull:


A green object hovering in the sky, no noise, then got extremely bright underneath and disappeared vertically


September 29, 8.35 am — Glasgow:


Stationary sphere, bright even in daylight, with a strange "jet stream" that appeared to go straight upwards.


October 1, 4.03 pm — Paisley: 


White spinning cigar-shaped with lights, glitching in and out of reality possibly with an energy field around it.


October 26, 11.15 pm — Linlithgow: 


Large spherical object electric blue closely followed by a smaller similar sphere. Bright with streaks coming out.


November 11, 3 pm — Edinburgh: 


Three or four lots of objects in a circular formation above Murrayfield, only seen in photos, not with the naked eye.


November 12, 6.30 pm — Glenfarg:


Multiple objects like stars but with a red flicker. Remain in the same general position but move slightly erratically.


November 20, 11.05 pm — Kilwinning: 


Two very bright lights, under 15x magnification, didn't look like stars or satellites, one in the South and one in the East


November 30, 11.19 am — Glasgow: 


Taking photos of various contrails in the sky when noticed a black object hiding in one of the contrails.


December 11, 4 am — Dumfries: 


Bright light changed color as it was pulsating and moving slightly left and right and then up and down.


December 11, 8.30 pm — Orkney: 


Blue and red shapes flashed and moved from side to side. After a short while it had moved to the left in the sky.


December 12, 7.43 am — Peterhead: 


Low, very bright light as bright as the moon which dimmed as it changed direction to head East toward the sea.


December 26, 9.36 pm — Edinburgh: 


Strange bright light hovering in the sky silently and motionless for some minutes, with no clue as to where it came from.


Recently, four UFOs of different shapes and sizes were reportedly shot down by the United States authorities. One of them was later, alleged to be a Chinese spy balloon, but the identity of the others remains a mystery.
