A Norwich Crown Court in the UK sentenced a father and his son to life imprisonment for killing his estranged
wife's new lover.
Wayne Peckham, 49, and his son, Riley Peckham, 23, were both found guilty of murdering Matthew Rodwell, 39, after they found him hiding in a wardrobe at his home in Downham Market, Norfolk, in January 2022, reports Gistonlinesng.
The two men from Hilgay, Norfolk, are to spend a minimum of 24 and 18 years in jail respectively.

Wayne's son Riley Peckam first climbed through a first-floor window into the house that his mother shared with the deceased, after which his father, Wayne Peckam let himself in.
Mr Rodwell fought with Riley, upstairs, before Rodwell landed at the bottom of the stairs where his attackers beat and strangled him to death in front of Mrs Peckham. The cause of death was later declared to be manual strangulation.

He was a refuse worker and father-of-two, and had made a 999 call to the police, while he hid in the wardrobe as Riley was heard in the background shouting, “You are going to die”.
According to Senior investigating officer, Temporary Detective Chief Inspector Chris Burgess, from Norfolk Police, “Wayne and Riley acted in jealous rages, like a pack of animals, and the sentences passed today mean they can longer be a danger to anyone else.
“As ever, our thoughts remain with Matthew’s family and friends, and we will continue to support them for as long as they need,” Burgess said.
