The three-year-old son of Nigerian music star Davido and his partner Chioma is dead.
Ifeanyi drowned in a swimming pool at his residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State, according to accounts extensively reported on major news sites.
Ifeanyi, who was born in 2019, was said to have been underwater for a very long time before being discovered and rushed to a hospital in the Lekki area of the state. He was, however, confirmed dead when he arrived.

The tragedy happened a few days after his third birthday, on Monday night, (October 20).
Although the Adeleke's have not yet released an official statement, several celebrities shared cryptic remarks on their social media pages, which many took to be a confirmation of the rumors.
Iyabo Ojo, Ay Comedian, William Uchemba, Paul Okoye, and several more famous people expressed their sympathies shortly after the news was first reported.
In an Instagram post early Tuesday, Ayo Makun wrote, “The death of a child is unnatural, unfair, and tragic, this hit me so bad.
Daddy Freeze wrote “The Darkest hour”
Comedian Lasisi Elenu said, “Father heal your children’s hearts from this pain, strengthen them in such a dark and hurtful time oh Lord.”
There are currently few details available about the incident, however, sources suggest that Eniola Badmus, a Nollywood actress, spread the story through a now-deleted tweet.
