40 Christians killed by terrorists in Southern Kaduna buried enmasse amid tears.

A mass burial was held on Thursday, for 40 residents of Mallagum and Sogwon communities in Kaura Local Government Area of Kaduna State killed in recent attacks by bandits. 


According to SaharaReporters, all the victims were Christians of Catholic and ECWA dominations.


Family, friends, and well-wishers gathered at Government Secondary School, Mallagum on Thursday, to pay their last respects to the victims and wept uncontrollably as they were being buried.

Some of those killed were earlier buried on Wednesday.


After a prayer session by the Bishop of the Catholic Diocese, the Anglican Bishop of Kafanchan Diocese, Danladi Kundi led the burial.


Terrorists attacked the two villages on Tuesday, killed several residents, and burnt down houses, foodstuffs, and properties worth millions of naira.


Many communities in Southern Kaduna have been experiencing persistent attacks by terrorists and bandits, who have killed, maimed, and abducted a very significant number of residents and destroyed homes and food stores.
