Sammie fondly called "The Wellu Wellu master," was an internationally-recognized music producer, psalmist, and CEO of Zamar Entertainment.
His first album " Addicted" was released in 2004. His most recent album entitled "The Statement" was produced by Kevin Bond, a Grammy Award winner.
Sammie's passing comes hours after he posted a "Throwback photo of Sammie Okposo Praise Party" on his verified Instagram page on Thursday, The LEADERSHIP reports.
Okposo recently admitted that he was involved in an extramarital relationship after a lady simply known as African Doll called him out and accused him of impregnating and abandoning her.
Following the development, the singer owned up and on January 24, 2022, he apologized to his wife, Ozioma, on his Instagram page for his infidelity and told his fans that he would focus on restoration and seeking forgiveness.
